SecuSan® Door Handle Range

Did you realise that using a door handle is like shaking hands with thousands of strangers?

Now more than ever, we are increasingly conscious of the many surfaces we are touching and germs we are spreading. To provide that peace of mind, we have partnered with the UK’s leading hardware manufacturer HOPPE®, to bring to our customers a hardware solution that provides active protection against the growth of germs such as bacteria, algae and fungi.

The-solution-handle

SecuSan® door lever handles are tested to JIS Z 2801:2000 and ISO 22196:2011 standards to achieve a 99% reduction in bacteria in 24 hours, suitable for a wide range of industrial applications where hygiene control is needed, as well as for use in the hospitality sector. The antimicrobial special surface immediately suppresses microbial growth on a lasting basis and its high level of efficacy has been confirmed in independent laboratory and practical tests.

How it works

The SecuSan® door handle surface contains silver ions which are embedded in a carrier system of ceramic glass, that form an active part of this material and prevent the growth of germs such as bacteria, algae and fungi. The silver ions destroy the cell membrane of the germ, stopping the respiration and nutrition of the cells and therefore preventing cell division.
