The first weekend in July saw Fernedock Covert woodland in Derbyshire transformed into a festival hub and campsite for the National Forest’s Timber Festival 2021, with official sponsorship from Arnold Laver.
Over the 3 day festival attendees experienced interactive art, live music, installations and workshops for the whole family brought together to celebrate sustainability and the positive impact of the National Forest along with its rich and diverse heritage.
Sustainability and standards in certified timber are at the heart of what we do at Arnold Laver, and to support the weekend we contributed to event costs and donated materials to be used in stunning installations throughout the festival site, including the eye-catching entryway to mark the beginning of the festival grounds.
We’re actively committed to improving our environmental performance, preventing pollution and minimising the impact of our operations, and after an unfortunate interruption to their yearly calendar in 2020, we were thrilled to support such an environmentally minded celebration in 2021.
After more than a year spent indoors for many, The Timber Festival 2021 was a much-appreciated opportunity to get back out into nature and celebrate everything timber. If you’re interested in attending next year’s festival, more information can be found on the official Timber Festival website.
