Prime European Oak is a premium hardwood, cut from the inner part of the log for fewer knots and imperfections giving a clean, elegant finish. Yellow brown to silver grey in colour, Prime European Oak has numerous applications from furniture and panelling to landscaping projects.
Kiln drying timber delivers a uniform product with consistent moisture levels. Once inside the kiln, temperature, humidity, and airflow are carefully controlled to quickly reduce the moisture content of the timber to its optimum level on a species-by-species basis, avoiding moisture-related problems like warping and buckling.
You can typically expect to find fewer defects in kiln dried timber, making European Oak an ideal hardwood option for projects where appearances count.
