By smoking the boards during manufacturing, a rich, dark brown is created with hints of copper and creamy almond.

Although the boards can be laid as a floating floor, for uneven sub-floors or specific circumstances, a glue-down installation is also perfectly suitable with the Salisbury Handscraped & Oiled boards.

Salisbury Handscraped & Oiled flooring boards measure 1900mm in length by 190mm in width, with a thickness of 14mm and a 3mm wear-layer. Each pack has a coverage of 2.88m2. Salisbury boards come with a 20-year domestic warranty.

Design

1-Strip, 4-Sided Bevel - The surface layer of all 1-Strip Kährs flooring boards is sawn from a single piece of wood. This allows the natural appearance of the wood to shine through, including knots, colour variations and grain. Bevelling creates a rustic, robust finish - a bevelled edge feature on a 1-strip floor gives a very distinct look.

Flooring Finish

Handscraped & Oiled – Handscraping can give a brand-new wood floor a classic, worn appearance with the careful use of tools. An oil finish further emphasises the fine structure of the wood, enhancing its colour and character. Oiled floors should be oiled regularly (applied easily with a microfibre mop), but maintenance and cleaning are simple.
