Doorset Manufacturing Service

At Arnold Laver we offer a bespoke doorset manufacturing service which is designed to make installation as quick and easy as possible. It also provides the freedom of versatility whilst remaining compliant to regulations.

The entire manufacturing process is carefully controlled and monitored. From the selection of raw materials, through to design, precision machining, manufacture and technical support on every aspect of door provision for both domestic and commercial properties.

Our doorset offer is diverse and consists of:

Variety of finishes – a choice of laminated and paint-grade finishes
Sizes – flexibility to meet your build requirements, in standard and bespoke options
Ironmongery – doorsets are complete with recessing for locks and ironmongery
Frames – mdf, foil-wrapped mdf, veneered and solid timber
Sustainable materials – products can be supplied as certified, where required

UKAS Accredited

Doors are tested at a UKAS accredited testing facility.

We ensure safety of our fire doors through third party accreditation via the BWF-CERTIFIRE scheme (label) or BM TRADA Q-Mark (Plug).

Machining and Bespoke Manufacturing

As the timber experts, Arnold Laver has extensive in-house production facilities for the machining and manufacture of both hardwoods and softwoods. We have modern and well equipped factories located across several of our Depots, allowing us to provide an effective and timely service for a range of manufacturing requirements.

Machining

We are able to machine timber to the exact needs of our customers, usually on a short lead-time; whether it’s standard profiles for architrave and skirting, or bespoke components for manufacturing windows and doors.

Cutting

Our range of saws ensures accuracy and flexibility when manufacturing to precise specifications, whilst advanced software helps to provide efficiencies that keep costs under control.

CNC Machining

A Biesse Rover 30 machining centre, together with the latest software, controls the drilling and routing processes for any CNC requirements; delivering accuracy and reliability time after time.

Door Servicing

Through our door servicing centres we provide a full design, manufacture and technical support service for doorkits and doorsets. We can supply a wide choice of veneers, apertures, glazing and sizes, including fire-rated doors.

Finishing

We have a finishing facility that will allow us to offer customers a complete end-to-end service; cutting, machining and applying the spray finish to manufactured timber products.
