Please refer to the table below for our last order dates to ensure pre-Christmas delivery. Be aware that orders placed after these dates may not arrive before Christmas. We'll start processing orders again on 2nd January 2024. Thank you for arranging your orders in advance to help guarantee timely deliveries over the festive period. Here is a brief overview of our delivery policy, which outlines the minimum order values, delivery charges, and other relevant information for our customers. Please note that delivery rates may vary depending on the source of the items—whether they come from our branches or directly from the supplier—as well as the specific products involved. Read on for more details. Please note that Click and Collect is always free.

For items delivered from our branches, we have different order values and delivery charges depending on your customer type. Please see below for details.

Branch Fulfilled Delivery

 Trade cash: Flat rate delivery charge is £36 (incl. VAT) for orders less than £300 (incl. VAT), and free delivery for orders over £300 (incl. VAT).

  • DIY & Guests:  Flat rate delivery charge is £36 (incl. VAT) for orders less than £300 (incl. VAT), and free delivery for orders over £300 (incl. VAT).
  • Trade credit: No minimum order value, and free delivery on all orders.

Important - please open your package(s) within 2 working days and report any defects to us. This will allow us to address and resolve any issues promptly. Please note, this does not affect your statutory rights.

XL Joinery Variable on the number of items XL delivery rates are as follows: 1 item - £48, 2 items - £54, 3 items - £60, 4 items - £66, 5 or more items £72. Delivery can be expected within 5 to 7 working days*. Surcharges apply to some postcode areas.
Velux £36 A fixed nationwide delivery rate. Delivery can be expected within 5 to 7 working days*.
Total Sheds Free Delivery Enjoy free delivery! Delivery can be expected within 5 to 7 working days*.
Déanta £48 for one door Orders of two or more doors are charged at £72, with additional surcharges for certain postcode areas. Delivery can be expected within 5 to 7 working days*.
Cheshire Mouldings £48 for all orders  Delivery is expected to arrive within 5-7 working days*.
Kährs Flooring £114 or free delivery on orders over £840 Expect Delivery within 2-3 working days*.
Atlantic Handles & Hardware £15.60 for orders under £100 or £3.60 on orders over £100 2 working day delivery service.

Delivery from your local branch:

Our specalised timber will be delivered by your local branch. You can also take advantage of our complimentary Click and Collect service with no purchase minimum, which is available for all products available at our branches. For details on costs and delivery time frames, please see above. Please be aware that some postal codes are not eligible for delivery. For additional information, please contact us.

Delivery direct from a trusted supplier:

Some products will be shipped directly to you from our suppliers, which can be identified on each product's page. The delivery fees for each supplier will be added up, and can be viewed in the Direct Supplier Delivery Charges table. Each supplier has their own delivery service and you can find the most current delivery times on the product page for each item. We'll keep you updated on the delivery process and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Please note that some of our trusted suppliers may apply additional charges for deliveries to certain postcodes listed below. These charges are outside of our control and are determined by the suppliers themselves. If you are unsure whether your postcode is affected, please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with more information. We strive to provide the best service to our customers and will work to ensure that any additional charges are fair and transparent. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Delivery access:

Delivery access:

Please inform us of any access or delivery challenges at the specified delivery address. Some of our vehicles are large commercial trucks with wide trailers that may not be able to reach smaller residential roads. Additionally, we may require help with unloading the products due to their size and weight.

Deliveries from our branch network and certain suppliers will be made to the nearest kerbside at the address provided to us.

Although we appreciate any assistance with unloading, it is done at the customer's own risk. rnold Laver cannot be held liable for any injuries that may occur during the unloading process..

Same day collection: 

Same-day collection is contingent on the items being available at your chosen depot during operating hours. Products marked as "in-stock" may not be immediately available at your closest depot and may need to be transferred. It's recommended to confirm that your order is ready for collection by contacting the relevant depot prior to your visit. If an item is out-of-stock, the depot will inform you of the earliest collection date. The possibility of collecting within 24 hours of placing an order cannot be guaranteed, so please contact customer.service@laver.co.uk or your chosen Collection Depot to confirm availability before ordering. If you need the materials within 24 hours, it's important to reach out to the Collection Depot ahead of time to verify same-day or next-day collection options

Delivery times & days:

We offer delivery to most areas within mainland England and Wales using our own fleet of trucks. Regrettably, Northern Ireland is not included in our delivery zone. Our deliveries are made Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM. Currently, we do not deliver on weekends.

Your order will be sent out as soon as possible, typically within 3-5 business days if the material is in stock. However, please note that any item requiring a stock transfer may add extra days to the delivery window. 

Extended lead times:

At Arnold Laver, we make every effort to ensure prompt delivery of all orders. However, some of our Direct from Supplier products may have longer delivery times of three or more weeks. If you place an order for a product with a longer lead time, we'll keep you updated on the expected delivery day. If you need specific information regarding delivery, please reach out to us through chat or email on the details below.

Damaged goods:
