Get the Most from your Garden this Spring!
With the clocks going forward at the end of March, for many of us this means time to get active in the garden and make the best of the ravages that winter might have brought. Here are some handy garden tips that can help you keep your garden, whatever size, under control season after season and create some lovely features to enjoy over the spring and summer.

Winter can wreak havoc on spaces, large or small, and taking a good look at your garden before everything starts to bud can give you a real insight on where you can add value and add a focal point.
Get Decked
If you find your lawn is looking sparse in places, or winter wear and tear is making itself evident, then have you considered decking this area? It might be an area which suffers from constant footfall, or insufficient light over the winter to grow robust grass, so why not create a small decked area to relax on chairs or create a base for some shade loving planters? There’s a reason why that grass is struggling to grow, so address the problem with something from our decking range. Protect that Grass
Our timber planters can be a lovely feature any season – plant with evergreen hardy annuals for winter, such as box, and add some flowering spring bulbs to bring colour to your planter in the spring. It’ll also become a lovely focal point with climbers, including roses or honeysuckle in the early summer, but it will additionally enable everyone to follow your preferential route. It’s simple to do and can really make a difference. A pergola or seating area also guides the eye, and whilst many will take the path of least resistance, placing your new timber focal point, whether it’s a seat, pergola or summerhouse, behind a burgeoning flower bed, or alongside grasses or blossoms, will pull the eye, and enable visitors to circumnavigate their route around your plants to reach their destination.
