Keep Safe & Keep the Look

Using limited combustibility materials in large commercial construction projects is law. Now more than any other time we’re mindful of what we use whatever size the project. We stock a large range of limited combustibility timber products that achieve the highest standards in safety. Want to be safe but want to keep your options open on the look? You can do both with Arnold Laver. We work in partnership with suppliers of quality limited combustibility materials and products so we’ve picked our recommendations to give our customers reassurance and a high calibre look combined.

Safety First

On 29 April 2021, the Fire Safety Bill received Royal Assent and became known as the Fire Safety Act 2021. An independent Inquiry following the tragedy at Grenfell Tower in 2017 led to findings and suggestions which contributed to the Fire Safety Act. For information on this, you can find out more here.  You can trust Arnold Laver.  You can be reassured that all our limited combustibility products are tried, tested and proven.

Clever Cladding

Arnold Laver stocks a range of cladding options.  All our timber cladding comes from sustainable sources, adhering to our strict certification process. We work closely with PTG Treatments to supply treated products with effective fire protection performance lasting the lifetime of the timber or timber product. These treatments achieve European Standard EN 13501-1.

So here’s a summary of some of our favourite products. Want the natural look? Then check out our Accoya and Larch ranges. Or why not consider the engineered cladding where you get the wood-look with the benefits that physically engineered, treated products achieve, such as HardiePlank. Ever considered cladding for interior uses? The European and American Oak cladding adds a stylish and contemporary look to both interiors and exteriors, and the growing in popularity Canadian Western Red Cedar mellows beautifully as it seasons leaving a contemporary look that fits with its environment. It’s definitely time to get creative with your cladding choices and be reassured we’re thinking safety first.

It’s Not All About Cladding

MyDek Naturo comes in five finishes, including Driftwood and Rosewood. It’s a beautiful look to enhance a contemporary or traditional design building. Let us make the safety choices for you, and all you need do is choose what’s right for your construction project.
