We take the health & wellbeing of our customers, staff and suppliers seriously and we continue to review our Covid-19 adherence to Government Guidelines. In these uncertain times, we’re keen that all our customers are reassured that we adhere to stringent standards on self-distancing and hygiene, every day and everywhere. It’s not just the areas open to customers that are Covid-compliant, but front of house and behind the scenes – that’s in our depots, our offices, storage spaces, good receiving and distribution areas. As things change, whether that’s regionally or nationally, so do we.  

Good mental well-being

Hard to measure and not always easy to spot, our mental wellbeing is tantamount in these challenging times –that’s in our work lives or at home.  Whether our teams are customer-facing or behind the scenes, we have always wanted everyone in Arnold Laver to feel supported. To ensure we have the correct information and put the necessary measures in place, we rely on the brilliant national charity MIND. You can find out more about their top tips and advice here. MIND is a mental health charity which provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. MIND are active continuously but the pandemic has meant they, and other mental health charities, are offering additional support, guidance, tips and clarity on looking after your own mental health in these restricted times. What we do for Mental Wellbeing at Arnold Laver

In addition to awareness within our teams, we provide an ‘open-door policy’ where our people feel they can always share their issues. We also offer an internal Coronavirus telephone line for help and advice, and regular assessments and feedback to ascertain how safe they feel and supported.  You can read more about all our Covid-19 guidelines, as well as our mental well-being commitments on the Arnold Laver Risk Assessment via our website.
